Girlology + Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands, Unbothered and Alive: Discover the Power of Embodiment, facilitated by Dr. Cara Reeves, PhD & Melisa Holmes, MD.
As women, we’ve spent decades believing our bodies are problems to fix and our voices are too much. And now we’re watching the next generation absorb the same harmful lessons. When adult women (including Girl Scout troop leaders, caregivers, and community members), break the cycle of negative self-talk, we model powerful confidence and self-worth for the next generation of girls.
Unbothered and Alive: Discover the Power of Embodiment will be filled with interactive discussions, guided exercises, and mindfulness practices. We invite all adult women to attend and find a supportive space to reconnect with their body and reclaim their sense of self.
You will:
- Learn the foundational pillars of embodiment and explore practices that transform how you feel about and experience your body
- Gain inspiring, practical support to harness your agency and voice
- Foster self-compassion while challenging restrictive beliefs about body image and self-worth
- This is an opportunity to step into a more aligned, empowered relationship with yourself, one that honors where you are right now and celebrates all that you’re becoming.Seats are limited.
